We’ve had a really busy and productive few weeks here in Monesiglio, Italy. It has been really wonderful to get to know Pinky and his family, and Gianni and Paola Cora, owners of Cora Formaggi and our hosts in this beautiful town. We’ve also really enjoyed visiting all the goat at the farm and playing with the young kids.

Now that we’ve been here for a while, we are starting to get to know the locals, enjoying our daily coffee at Bar Europa in the town square where we are greeted by a chorus of “Ciao, Buongiorno…” Over the week we’ve drank tea, whiskey and wine with our new friends and the main characters in our film, Pinky, Gianni & Paola.

We’ve witnessed and filmed almost all of the aspects of cheese making process and the care for the animals in stable. And even witnessed and filmed 3 live births during our first week of filming!

We’re excited about how the story is coming together and are gearing up for the last week of filming. Stay tuned for more updates soon!
