Production wrapped!

Production wrapped on Pinky and the Kids on October 13 after a wonderful month of capturing the lives of Gianni and Paola Cora and Pinky Singh and his family, and the lovely goats and kids that they work with! We spent a wonderful month getting to know our main characters, their friends and family and the villagers of Monesiglio who welcomed us into their lives with such enthusiasm.

It’s been about two weeks since Emily and Anna returned home from Italy and got back to the reality of not living in a gorgeous Italian town. Although the weaning off of deliciously fresh goat cheese and Piedmontese wine has been a struggle, they have adjusted relatively well.

We are looking forward to the delving into the post-production of the film, which is set to take place in early 2019. Before then we will be launching a crowdfunding campaign with lots of exciting prizes and beautiful items that we are looking forward to sharing with you over the next month or so - stay tuned!

The enthusiasm and support that we’ve received from friends, family and enthusiastic acquaintances has been uplifting and inspiring, we could not have come this far without everyones support and encouragement. We’re looking forward to sharing the next stage of production with everyone!

Also, we would like to thank Gianni and Paola for hosting us and being so open with their lives and welcoming us into their home. We also very much enjoyed spending time with their furry children, dogs Lady, Ciccio and Dasha, and cats Mina, Milú and Sensi. A sincere thank you also to the Singh family - Pinky and Meena, and their sons JB and Sonu, and also nephew Param. Thank you for all the cups of chai, delicious Indian food and kind hospitality. A special thank you to Lorena Cora for introducing us to Pinky, Paola and Gianni and the wonderful world of Monesiglio, and to Francesco “Cikko” for taking us for pizza and drinks, and for introducing us to his lovely pup Violetta.

We are looking forward to sharing the first trailer with in the next few months and updating you with news about the films progress. I assure you there will be many new exciting developments over the next few months, so please follow on Facebook and Instagram to keep atop of all the latest.

Until then, grazie & alla prossima.
